Ryno Brand – Developer
Ryno specializes in the web space using Microsoft technologies and frameworks that are cross-device friendly. He looks primarily after 2 key systems at one of our clients, being responsible for the daily run-and-maintain services as well as the development of new project initiatives.
After completing a BA (Psychology and Industrial Psychology), Ryno joined Discovery and spent a year gaining valuable knowledge of their health care products and developing his client care skills. He then decided to make a complete about turn in his career, and signed up for a Software Development course. After graduating cum laude he worked for various software development companies. However it was always his desire to code in c#, so he started looking for opportunities and joined Vicitude in October 2014.
@Ryno: Vicitude has given me the opportunity to pursue my passion for programming, being able to code in C# and other Microsoft platforms. The one thing I enjoy about programming is the fact that there is never a dull moment. I enjoy solving problems and being able to learn something new every day in the world of programming. I am a very responsible, diligent, loyal and trustworthy person as well as a fast learner who embraces challenges and thrives under pressure. Sharing knowledge and experience and adding value to the team are equally as important to me as having people skills.
Being a big sports fan, Ryno enjoys watching and supporting Manchester United, the Stormers and the Western Province. In his spare time, he enjoys listening to music and playing games such as FIFA and Battlefield. He also enjoys spending time with friends and family and going out for wine tastings with the love of his life.
